2026 Flying Stars

In the Tail of the Steed of the Fiery Wind & Cosmic Velocity

  • The 2026 Basket of Elements is full of Fire and Wood, which produces Fire. However, there is absolutely no Water element. It is important to address this imbalance in both the physical body and interior design. A lack of Water can be risky, as favourable opportunities on the horizon may not be seized.

  • The Grand Duke and Benefactor (Jupiter) arrives in the South, where he encounters the Star of Obstacles and Failures (№5 Yellow), which spoils his mood. Needless to say, the southern sector is the most problematic and ambivalent in 2026. The earthly space we inhabit is simply a reflection of the fiery and spirited nature of the heavenly Steed of 2026. If it is overstimulated, it is capable of rearing up and unseating its rider.

  • 2026 is able to ignite the fire of love, but conflicts and scandals (which we witnessed in 2025, the Year of the Snake, due to its 'insidious' nature) could consume those involved: secrets will be revealed and the consequences will be inevitable. 2026 brings temptations galore, but beware of scams and love affairs that could ruin your reputation!

  • There are also lucky ones for whom the Year of the Fire Horse will bring unprecedented luck and new opportunities, passionate lovers and ardent followers. However, they must also be prepared to embrace the challenges that fate brings. Many of them were born in the Year of the Dog, Tiger, or Goat (remember that, according to the Chinese calendar, January and February often belong to the previous year).

  • Those born in the year of the Rat will more than once find themselves dangerously close to the fiery Horse's hooves. This year will bring drastic but necessary changes to their work and home lives, as well as unexpected events and expenses. They should consider where restructuring is needed and get rid of what's long overdue! The Goat's talisman is a lucky charm for them.

  • For those born in the Year of the Horse, the year brings bold challenges, fateful changes, and journeys. Pay particular attention to balancing of Fire and Water in your surroundings, colour combinations, and body. Earth is a beneficial and calming element, as are all bronze and terracotta shades, but open red works fine for new beginnings!

  • The spontaneous and balky Horse may prove challenging for the calm and patient Oxen/Cows to handle. They should avoid rushing into trouble and focus on strategic planning instead. Although the Horse's pace can be overwhelming, it is important to allow time for rest, sleep, walks and a lovely routine.

  • Travelling south is not recommended, particularly for those born in the Year of the Rat or Horse. It is better to head in a south-eastern direction instead.

  • Fire element is associated with the heart, circulation, blood pressure, heat and acute inflammation. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, monitor your weight and fluid intake, and avoid overexertion and stress. Kidneys, lungs, immune system and head are at risk.

The good stars fly to the East,

while the unfavourable ones fly to the West

The conflicting Southern sector can be harmonised by either hanging a wind chime (a set of hollow metal tubes) or by regularly cleansing the area with a singing bowl. The positive, resonant sounds of metal always help to dispel negative energy! The South is associated with fame and recognition. Under unfavourable circumstances, however, it can bring a lack of these or, conversely, notoriety. If the room is rarely used, it can be closed off completely. Renovations, noise, open flames and the colour red should be avoided, as should sitting with your back to the North and facing South! White, silver and gold colours, as well as the Metal element, also help to neutralise negative influences.

The Illness Star (№2 Yellow) descends into the Northwest sector, so it is worth protecting this area with a string of six Chinese coins tied with a red ribbon. Strengthening the Metal element here is recommended, as the northwest sector represents the head of the household.

  • Salt Water Cure can also be used in the South and Northwest.

The Star №3 of Quarrels, Discord and Lawsuits has arrived in the West. We can neutralise its effects by using the element of Fire and its colours (the simplest way is to regularly burn a candle or hang a 'fire' painting). Protect your relationships from betrayal or interference by third parties using a special feng shui talisman lock, which combines the symbolism of loyalty (the locking mechanism) and peace (the apple).

The №7 Star, which symbolises scandals, theft and robbery, appears in the southwest. To neutralise its negative energy, place three bamboo shoots or dracaena stems in a glass of water in a vase. As this tar indicates danger from sharp metal, add elements of water and use blue, dark blue and black colours in the interior design. Blue figurines of elephants or rhinoceroses make excellent protective amulets. The southwest corner of a home is associated with the homeowner (the host), so it should be treated with care!

The influence of flying stars can be enhanced, either positively or negatively, depending on whether the front door, master bedroom or main living space is located in a favourable or unfavourable sector and direction.

Auspicious Stars

The Water 1, the Star of Victory, breakthroughs in business, intellectual abilities, insights and new beginnings, arrives in the Centre of the home. This star enhances leadership qualities and creativity, helping us to shine with our talents and recognise opportunities that others have overlooked, but it is weakened by the sector itself. We can therefore decorate the heart of the home with a nautical theme in blue and azure tones, reminiscent of deep waters, possibly with the addition of white and silver. Incorporate objects related to the Water element, such as a bowl of fresh water that needs refilling daily, an aquarium, a water fountain, horse figurines, a victory flag, or special feng shui amulets.

The Southeast sector is illuminated by the radiant rays of the Purple 9 of Recognition and Prosperity. Its productive interaction with the sector itself sets an extraordinary precedent in 2026, creating opportunities for income growth, business expansion and success, even with risky start-ups. It also grants lucky chances for finding happiness in love, attracting fans and followers, exciting travel and new educational opportunities. A tastefully decorated and well-lit Southeast sector will prove itself very quickly! It is important to combine Water-Tree symbols of prosperity and wealth with the number 9 and the colour purple. Suitable options include a flowering or artificial tree with purple or crimson flowers (similar to sakura), a horse figurine or a windhorse carrying the Cintamani jewel on its back. This sector is particularly auspicious for eldest daughters and individuals born in the years of the Dragon (1964+12) and the Snake (1965+12).

The 8 of Earth, the Star of Material Well-Being and Wealth, moves to the Εast, where it is naturally weakened. This can be countered by placing crystal clusters and earthy colours in this area. A Wealth Vase or Money Tree would be good options. However, be sure to add the missing Water element to secure money flow into the house. This could take the form of a dragon figurine, as dragons are guardians of the east and live in the mountains. Even better would be a water dragon. Alternatively, you could place an aquarium, a bowl of water, or a stone- and crystal-lined fountain. Armed with this knowledge, let your imagination run wild and your eldest son will benefit from a properly strengthened sector!

The Star №4, Artist's, Academic or Romance Star, travels to the Northeast. This star symbolises new plans, education, adventure, romance and creative inspiration. A combination of Wood and Water, such as lush plants or a board displaying your plans or dream destinations, would work well. You can also write down your secret wishes and hide a box containing them in a sacred place in this sector. Those seeking a soulmate are advised to use Mandarin ducks, an amulet of the nine-tailed Fox, fresh flowers or images of peonies. Married couples should consider using a Double happiness knot, a rooster figurine, or a Padlock talisman to help maintain harmony and cohesion in their relationship. If you are hoping to attract inspiration or love, or to take a trip or start college, spend more time here! This location is particularly beneficial for the youngest son, as well as for those born in the years of the Tiger (1962+12) and Ox (1961+12).

The 6 of Metal, Happiness by Heaven's Will appears in the Northern sector — the domain of mentors, bosses and careers. However, this is weakened by the sector's own influence and the presence of the 'Three Killers'. We can protect and strengthen the sector using the elements and colours associated with Metal, such as a bunch of six coins, as well as shades of silver, white and gold. A three-legged toad holding a pearl is considered a lucky talisman! It would be beneficial to have an altar here, as well as diplomas, awards or portraits of the authorities and gurus you admire. If you have a protective amulet, guardian angel or icon, place them here. You can also use a special Heavenly Mirror. Keep the North calm and avoid renovating this area.
