The easterlies of this New Moon can disrupt stability and routine, sharpening our sense of presence and acuteness of being. Sharply blowing from around the corner, these winds throw unexpected changes and trips, shifts in schedule or time zone; they promise discoveries and insights, while causing organism and mechanism malfunctions; they may disorient hands of clocks or lead navigators astray. We may need to rescue or substitute, to save someone’s day, or urgently learn new skills. On August 22-26 and September 2-4 rates of accidents or failures may increase. Curiously, the Sun and the Moon will conjunct in the 1st degree of the sign of Virgo, forestalling significant September eclipses, on the last of which, on September 21, the luminaries will join again in the 30th degree of the sign. They will trail through all of Virgo in one month, lighting up all classic “Virgo” themes: Work and health, utility and service, selfless devotion to duty and following Dharma; along with bureaucratic issues of permissions and certificates. These events will suddenly switch our gears as we land on Autumn roads, opening the boundaries between signs once more, as it did at the turn of March and April. August 25-30 is great for creative expression and sublimating sexual energy, networking with eminent and worthy persons. It’s good to go out with your loved ones: To an exhibition or a concert. Some can get a holiday with a last-minute ticket – though remember to be cautious around promoters or advertisers. From September 2 to 7 there is a high risk of feuds and brawls with land lords, hotel or restaurant owners, and other powerful personas. On the global arena, negotiations can break down, while notions of justice and retribution may be twisted to justify continuing hostility or force. During September of 4-13, one should plug the “leaks” and be vigilant about guilty pleasures.
