Symbol – King Narayan. The spirit of New Moon will cross the boundaries and break molds, overturning habitual patterns of thinking. The changes will be drastic, devastating in places, but emancipating. On the New Moon it’s important to set clear intentions and harness your inner powers and resources. The need for change must first be recognized, and then consistently implemented, otherwise only inciting demarche. One can act as an informal leader, a ringleader, or as a creative director of one’s own life, improvising on the fly and going all in. Projects, events and social life will spur us to take on an active public role. Some will experience adventures and avant-garde parties, gathering acquaintances, while others will visit authorities with petitions or righteous battles. On January 23-28 the arbitrary exercise of power, opportunism, and (left-wing) extremism will increase – protests and strikes are possible. Be cautious whilst attending public events, rallies, or amusement parks. In the spotlight: Celebrities and public figures, especially "stuntmen" and "circus performers", fighters for freedom and independence. For its favourites, the New Moon promises the protection of their comrades, while others will be forced to fight out of a spirit of contradiction or to experience a crisis of personal transformation. However, it also carries the whims of fate, leaving the question open as to whether charisma, consistency and a bit of “frostbite” will be enough to turn the tide of events. The will to forge your own path, or to tell others to piss off, will strengthen; although, even freedom has its own price.
